Andaventura’s European guides don’t try to cover the continent: they work the destinations where a short break actually works. Belgium, Spain and Andorra, with guides that say how to get there, how many days are enough and what to book in advance.
Market and snow season
From late November to early January, half of Europe turns into a different destination. The comparison of cities to visit in December sorts the options by the kind of trip each one offers, and Bruges at Christmas is the break that answers the most questions: a medieval centre closed to traffic and everything twenty minutes apart on foot.
If you are after snow, skiing in Andorra compares the three resorts in the country and explains which one matches each level.
Villages and short breaks
In Spain, Frigiliana: a Moorish quarter above Nerja and the Sierra de Almijara trails that start as you leave the village. A day trip or a weekend, depending on whether you plan to walk.
