Terms of use
Language note. This is a courtesy translation. The binding version of this document is the Spanish original at Condiciones de uso, which prevails in the event of any discrepancy.
These terms govern the use of the andaventura.com website by users. Andaventura is a travel publication: it sells no products or services, so these are not terms of sale.
1. Purpose
The purpose of these terms is to govern access to, browsing of and use of the website, and the responsibilities arising from that use.
The identification of the owner and the general regime of the site are in the legal notice, which forms part of these terms.
2. Acceptance
Accessing and using the website confers the status of user and implies full acceptance of these terms in the version published at any given time, together with the legal notice, the privacy policy and the cookie policy.
If you do not agree with any of them, you should refrain from using the site.
3. Access and browsing
Access is free and open and requires no registration. There is no private user area and no services are contracted through the site.
The user is responsible for having the technical means needed for access (connection, device and up-to-date browser) and for their cost.
4. Permitted use
The website and its content are made available to the user for personal and informational use.
You may:
- Read, consult and share links to the content.
- Quote short extracts with attribution and a link to the original article.
- Print or save content for private use.
5. User obligations
The user undertakes to use the site diligently and, in particular, not to:
- Use it for unlawful purposes or contrary to good faith.
- Reproduce, distribute or publicly communicate the content for commercial purposes without express authorisation.
- Extract content systematically, by automated or manual means, in order to reconstruct it on another site.
- Introduce malicious code or carry out actions that could damage, overload or prevent the normal operation of the site.
- Attempt to access restricted areas, accounts or systems of the site.
- Impersonate the owners or imply a relationship or endorsement that does not exist.
6. Intellectual property and use of content
The original content of the site — texts, selection and structure, design and code — is protected by intellectual and industrial property law.
Except with express authorisation, its reproduction, transformation, distribution or public communication, in whole or in part, is not permitted, nor is its use to train automated systems for commercial purposes.
To request authorisation, write to info@andaventura.com.
7. Nature of the content
The content is informational and indicative, does not constitute professional advice and does not replace official sources.
Travel information changes: timetables, fares, access to natural areas, country entry requirements, transport or accommodation availability. The user must check the details with official sources before making decisions that involve expense or travel.
Content relating to insurance, cover or administrative requirements is informational and does not constitute insurance, legal or tax advice.
8. Links and third-party content
The site may link to third-party pages and display content served by third parties, including advertising.
The owners neither control nor supervise that content and are not responsible for its accuracy, lawfulness or availability, nor for the terms applicable on the destination sites. Access to them is at the user’s responsibility.
The site currently has no active commercial affiliate agreements. If affiliate links are added in future, they will be clearly identified and these terms will be updated accordingly.
9. Advertising
The site displays third-party advertising, identified as such. Responsibility for the products, services and claims advertised lies with the advertiser.
Advertising does not influence editorial judgement: content is not produced or modified according to advertisers.
10. Limitation of liability
The owners are not liable for:
- Damage arising from use of the information published or from decisions taken on the basis of it.
- Any lack of availability, continuity or accuracy of the site or its content.
- The content, policies or practices of linked third-party sites.
- Failures, interruptions or damage caused by matters beyond their reasonable control.
These limitations apply to the extent permitted by law and do not exclude or limit the rights the law grants the user, in particular where the user is a consumer.
11. Availability of the site
The owners aim to keep the site continuously accessible but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or the absence of errors. They may suspend or interrupt access for maintenance, technical incidents or external causes.
12. Changes to these terms
The owners may modify these terms to adapt them to regulatory, technical or editorial changes. The applicable version is the one published on this page at the time of access, so periodic review is recommended.
13. Contact
For any question about these terms, the content published, or a request to remove or correct information: info@andaventura.com.
We are particularly grateful for notices about out-of-date information: it is the fastest way to keep the guides useful.
14. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Spanish law. For the resolution of disputes, the parties submit to the courts with jurisdiction under the applicable rules, respecting in all cases the venue corresponding to the user where the user is a consumer.
