About Andaventura
Andaventura is a travel publication founded by Alessandro Mora and Astrid Carolina González, within Glowing SEO Agency. We write destination guides for people who have already decided to travel and need to pin the trip down: when to go, how to get there, what it costs and what is worth the effort.
What we publish
Two things, in this order.
Venezuela. It is the backbone of the site and the part we know best: national parks, islands, beaches, the Andes and La Gran Sabana. It is also where reliable information is scarcest, because the country has been outside the big editorial circuits for years. That is where a well-made guide is worth most. Start with travel in Venezuela.
Specific short trips. Short, seasonal breaks in Europe and the Americas. We do not try to cover the world: we cover the trips we can explain with useful detail.
How we write
These are the rules each article on the site is edited by. They are not a manifesto: they are how we decide which sentence goes in and which does not.
- If we cannot stand behind it, we do not write it. Anything we cannot verify is logged as pending rather than published as fact.
- Prices and timetables are marked as indicative. They change, and saying so is more useful than pretending otherwise.
- We do not invent personal experience. When an article is researched rather than lived, it is written as a documented guide. We do not sign as witnesses to places we have not been.
- We say what does not work. If a transfer is uncomfortable, if a destination has got expensive or if a beach fills up, it goes in the text. Credibility is the only asset a travel guide has.
- Responsible tourism, specifically. Much of what we cover is inside national parks. Access rules, anchoring rules and waste rules go in the article, not in a statement of intent.
About the site
Andaventura was rebuilt from scratch in 2026: new foundations, new design and an article-by-article review of the previous catalogue. Many texts were rewritten from zero, some were merged and others were retired. If you arrived here from an old link, it should have redirected you to the equivalent content.
The English edition is newer and smaller than the Spanish one. Where a guide has no English version yet, the link takes you to the Spanish original rather than nowhere.
